 Come join us for the greatest party of the year in Salt Lake City! The Salt Lake Art Center’s Annual Gala is always a beautiful, elegant and energizing event.
Join us on June 5, from 6:30 to midnight for this black tie affair, hosted by Chris Vanocur from ABC Channel 4. Enjoy cocktails upstairs while listening to soft, loungy music by DJ Jesse Walker. Also view an exhibition of newly commissioned artworks, and be the first to put your name down for our fabulous silent auction items.
The party will continue downstairs in the Main Gallery for dinner. Sample a variety of small-plate, gourmet creations prepared by Lortsher/Vlassic Catering. We will then host a short live auction before our band, Solid Gold takes the stage with music that will have guests dancing until midnight.
The Gala is the culmination of the Salt Lake Art Center's main fundraiser, Not Just Another Pretty Face, which begins in the fall with a series of Art Salons, resulting in commissioned works of art. We bring these unique works together for a summer exhibition that is unveiled on the eve of the Gala. Proceeds from the art-commissioning process are a 50/50 split between artist and the Art Center. Proceeds from the Annual Gala directly benefit the Art Center's thought-provoking exhibitions and educational programs that serve our local community.
